Resume
My core field of academic and professional expertise is data science, especially Bayesian statistics and machine learning. Python programming is my tool of choice for scientific computation.
I received my Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree cum laude from Harvard College, where I studied on an Undergraduate Fulbright Grant. My primary subject of study was Applied Mathematics, with a field of application in Economics. Before that, I received my high school qualifications from UWC Mahindra College, the Indian branch of the United World Colleges educational movement.
I currently work as a Data Scientist at Wolt, a delivery platform technology company and the overseas arm of DoorDash. Before that, I worked in ML-based predictive modeling at Fit Analytics, Snapchat‘s R&D outfit for online shopping. In my university days, I also spent a summer doing computational economic modeling at Cambridge Econometrics and carried out research and teaching assistant tasks at Harvard University.
For my core academic and programming contributions, do have a look at my paper, and the associated Python library, on the Bayesian Synthetic Control.
